“Everybody at Contact Centre Management is very pleased to be involved in arranging what we believe to be the most exciting and original Contact Centre corporate event ever to be staged. The racing will be challenging and exciting and what could be a better way to treat and motivate your staff or entertain your clients. We have great hopes in helping to establish the Contact Centre Challenge Cup as a prominent fixture on the Industry event calendar,” Louise Chuter, the publisher of Contact Centre Management, says regarding their involvement in the project.

Daytona International’s superb karting venue, featuring one of the longest and most challenging outdoor circuits in the UK, will host the race, on Thursday 27th and Friday 28th May.

The Contact Centre Challenge Cup in association with Contact Centre Management magazine will commence on Thursday evening with a four hour open practice session, giving drivers the opportunity to learn the testing circuit, and discuss strategy for race day, whilst providing networking opportunities trackside.

The race begins in earnest the following morning, with a one hour qualifying session for grid position, before the start of the 8 hour endurance race, just inches above the tarmac.Teams must manage driver changes, refuelling and team tactics. Every team will also compete in the ‘Pit Stop Challenge’ where, under race conditions, the team must change the tyres on a Formula One race car.
