IIRMT 2004 is an international event specifically designed to meet the technology needs of all organisations that are measured on their ability to respond to incidents, both routine and emergency. It will be hosted in Brussels, in a time when comes to everyone minds the consequences of recent terrorist attacks and the economic and social impact of major disasters. IIRMT will prompt to give these organisations lines to marshal the latest ideas, operational schemes and empowering technologies, in order to optimise their response to incidents.
Targeted for emergency services and homeland defence organisations, IIRMT summit, will bring together a blend of strategic and tactical experts from the user communities and international industries that support them. The event is endorsed by ETSI and the Mobile Data Association and supported by the Emergency Planning Association. It already has sponsorship support from two of Europe’s Command & Control solution specialists, Intergraph and Frequentis.
The four days conference includes a pre-conference Mobile Data Forum on June 14th, the main conference on 15th and 16th June and a post-Conference Workshop supported by the Belgian Federal Police on the 17th June looking at Cross-Border and Inter-Agency Communications for Incident Response. The summit will also have an exhibition area where a variety of solutions from market leading organisations will be on display.
