Sun Microsystems and SunGard Availability Services have gathered to release a new Sun Disaster Recovery Managed Services. The main point is giving small and medium sized companies better assurance of getting mission-critical data and operations back online quickly in a variety of disaster scenarios.
This new offer is built on Sun’s range of flexible managed services and provides a variety of services and technologies to help customers architect, implement and manage a complete disaster recovery solution. Sun says its easier and more cost-effective to deploy.
These new services will be delivered by SunGard and are already available in North America . In the coming months availability should be expanded to other regions.
