1478 — Avaya Appoints Omar Kezouit as Vice President, IBM Strategic Alliance, EMEA

Avaya has decided to appoint Omar Kezouit, for the position of Vice President, IBM Strategic Alliance for Europe Middle East and Africa. In this role, Kezouit will be responsible for expanding Avaya’s relationship with IBM in the growing markets of Enterprise IP telephony and IP Contact Centres.
 

On the release note, Avaya points that Kezouit brings in over 20 years of experience in the ICT market, both from a technological and business management perspective.

He first began his career in 1983 as a computer scientist at INRIA, and then moved to the R&D department of France Telecom.In 1989, Kezouit joined Oracle Corp. where he held a number of positions during his tenure there. In 1998, he joined Remedy Corp to manage sales in Southern Europe.  He also served at Optio Software as director of Business Development for Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa.  At Avaya, he will report to Buddie Ceronie,Vice president, Channel and Partners for EMEA.

Omar Kezouit holds a PhD in Computing Science from the University of Paris-Orsay.
