2045 — Alcatel & Pupin Telecom provides Usce Tower in Belgrade with complete IP communications solution serving 2,300 office workers

Alcatel announced that it has provided the Usce Tower office building in Belgrade with a complete IP communications solution, delivering data and voice-over-IP (VoIP) services for more than 2,300 office workers. The contract was awarded to Alcatel’s business partner Pupin Telecom by Serbia’s European Construction D.O.O.
 

As one of Alcatel’s premier customers in Serbia, this implementation represents a significant win in reinforcing Alcatel’s strong position in delivering enterprise fully converged IP communications solutions in Serbia & Montenegro. Future extension of the system will include high-speed Internet access, DECT and Voice Mail.

‘As part of incorporating state-of-the-art facilities within the USCE Tower, our aim is to provide our tenants with the latest in advanced voice and data communication solutions,’ said Marjan Vujovic, Marketing and Sales Manager of European Construction. ‘Alcatel and Pupin Telecom have proven to be reliable partners for this project, being able to fully meet our needs with their complete portfolio of IP communications solutions .’

Under terms of the contract, Alcatel and its partner Pupin Telecom delivered a converged IP solution, including the Alcatel OmniPCX Enterprise communications platform with IP Touch telephones, the Alcatel OmniVista 4760 and OmniVista 2520 network management solutions, and a wide range of Alcatel OmniSwitch data networking products.
