Sabio, the innovative contact centre services and solutions company, and its technology partner Corizon, are hosting a ‘Detox Your Desktop’ seminar to show how detoxing the agent’s PC desktop can help contact centres to dramatically cut agent talk time per call, reduce their initial training requirements and help improve first call resolution.

The ‘Detox Your Desktop’ event will be held on Thursday 1st March at the Tate Modern, London and will feature a keynote presentation from BT’s Martin Greenan, BT’s Programme Director, Customer Management Platform, who will outline how Corizon’s user interface technology has helped BT simplify the agent desktop for its broadband support service and save, on average, 43 seconds per call. Using this approach across a number of projects, BT has successfully improved First Call Resolution; reduced agent training times and cut back on the number of calls being escalated to other operations within the business.

Also at the event Sabio’s Adam Faulkner will explore the impact that multiple desktop applications have on the overall customer and agent experience, while Corizon’s Mike Saar will provide an overview of the powerful technology behind the Sabio Intelligent Desktop approach.
Leigh Hopwood, Head of Marketing at Sabio: “Getting the customer experience right can be challenging.  It’s one thing to have the right systems and applications in place, but if your agents have to login-logout, alt-tab and cut n’ paste their way through those applications, then service levels can quickly deteriorate.  Targeted at Customer Service Directors and IT Directors, this seminar will provide an insight into the significant benefits detoxing the desktop can deliver for contact centres across any vertical market, while BT will provide clear evidence of the advantages this approach can bring to a business.”
Commenting on the upcoming event, Mike Saar, Commercial Director, Corizon said: “ This ‘Detox Your Desktop’ event will provide an insight into how leading organisations such as BT are already reaping the benefits of the technology behind the Sabio Intelligent Desktop. At the event Corizon will show how innovative user interface and SOA technologies can solve some of the biggest IT challenges facing leading organisations today, enabling agile business applications to be deployed without ripping out your existing infrastructure.”
