The CCA 8th Annual Convention will take place in Glasgow, in 27 and 28 November 2002, and it will look the organizations who are adopting winning strategies to succeedin business.

We are delighted to announce the dates for the CCA 8th Annual Convention which will be 27 and 28 November 2002. The event will take place at the SECC in Glasgow and we are expecting more than 600 delegates to attend from throughout the UK and Europe.

The event is now regarded as the most important industry event of the year and this year will look specifically at those organisations who are adopting winning strategies to succeed in business.

·Main Convention Chair – Adrian Chiles

The main convention programme will be chaired by Adrian Chiles who was originally a producer on Business Breakfast and who has recently presented Computers Don’t Byte and Watchdog.

·Speakers:

Speakers at this years’ event include: – Keynote address will be made by Stephen Timms of DTI; Peter Scott of T Mobile; Hendrick Ball of BBC John Spence of Lloyds TSB; Jonathon Lindley of JobCentre Plus; Steve Parry of Fijitsu; Professor Colin Coulton-Thomas.

·CCA Skills 2002

CCA Skills 2002 will be running at the Convention on 27 November. This will attract between 150-200 delegates and will look at the training and accreditation models currently available, with some of the lead players offering their views on the way forward. Also up for discussion will be the CCA’s new training accreditation initiative, that will offer professionals in the industry a new approach for developing their career opportunities.

·CCA Gala Dinner – 27 November 2002

The CCA 8th Annual Gala Dinner will be held on the evening of 27 November at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum in Glasgow. With a Champagne Reception and lively entertainment, the Gala Dinner provides an excellent opportunity for meeting friends old and new, and is the perfect way to end the opening day of the event. This prestigious dinner is only open to delegates of the Convention and demand is always high. Sponsored tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis with our members receiving priority.

·CCA 8th Annual Exhibition

The Convention has a supporting exhibition running over the 2 days where delegates and invited guests can meet some of the industry’s main suppliers to discuss how their expertise can be used to develop call and contact operations.

Running in the exhibition area, as part of the overall Convention, will be a number of clinics concentrating on specific subject areas giving some of our exhibitors the opportunity to address the audience directly.

The second edition of the CCA Supplier Handbook will also be distributed at the CCA 8th Annual Convention and exhibitors will be offered a reduced rate when booking their stand.
