Outsourced contact centre specialist Kingston incontact – part of Kingston Communications (HULL) PLC, is to carry out business-to-business telemarketing for Powergen, one of the UK’s leading integrated gas and electricity companies.
Rapidly expanding Kingston incontact, recently named the fastest growing telemarketing bureau in the country, has been selected for an initial three-month contract with Powergen, which provides utilities services to firms across the UK.
Under the terms of the agreement, Kingston incontact advisors will talk to business customers about the benefits of switching their gas, electricity and telephone service to Powergen.
‘Winning this business is without doubt a major coup for us,’ says David Bishop, managing director of Kingston incontact, which is providing the people and expertise needed to promote Powergen’s services to the business community.
Kingston incontact, which has recruited an additional 60 sales personnel in readiness for the telemarketing campaign – has grown rapidly in the last eighteen months, securing business from local and national government organisations as well as blue-chip companies.
