650 — FINEOS appoints Isabel Hudson to board of directors

FINEOS Corporation, an Irish manufacturer of banking and insurance software announced the appointment of Isabel Hudson to its board as a non-executive director. Isabel Hudson currently holds the position of corporate development director with Prudential in the UK, whom she joined in June 2002. Hudson is also chairperson of the Board of Directors of Prudential International Assurance (PIA).

“I am delighted to join FINEOS at such an exciting point in the company’s development and I look forward to working with the company to further increase its global presence. The market is tough today and financial institutions need to adapt to more flexible and efficient systems to increase efficiency and reduce costs. FINEOS is a young company with the drive and determination to deliver to these requirements and succeed on a
global basis,” Isabel Hudson said.

Prior to joining Prudential, Hudson spent over two years as chief financial officer and executive director at Eureko B.V. (Amsterdam) based in Paris, with the specific brief to restructure the company, develop its acquisition strategy and prepare it for an initial public offering (IPO).

She has also held a number of senior executive roles with other leading financial institutions, including Development Director with GE Insurance (London) and head of european development and operations for Lloyds of London.

FINEOS was recently awarded Company of the Year in 2002 by the Irish Software Association and its customers Allianz, Aviva, Fortis and the Zurich Financial Services Group.
