703 — Amicus outsourcing contact centre chooses synTelate

Initiative Software has been selected to provide synTelate, its screen customisation and scripting tool for use on the call centre agent desktop, to the business start-up Amicus Outsourcing Limited. SynTelate will initially be deployed across 65 seats of inbound, outbound and blended activities.

“After discussions with our technology supplier PowerDial it was clear that synTelate was the obvious choice to meet our business goals,” said Charles Burns,operations director Amicus Outsourcing Ltd.

“With rapid campaign development, easy maintenance and the capability to integrate with other systems we were very impressed with synTelate. The flexibility of synTelate API (Application Programming Interface) for more complex requirements has allowed us to tailor synTelate to meet our challenging business goals. We now have the capabilities for call blending and in the near future we will have home workers using synTelate.”

Amicus Outsourcing started trading in March 2003, backed by major investor Dabs.com. Amicus Outsourcing Ltd, based in Jarrow, UK, is a multi-channel contact centre dealing with both inbound and outbound call centre activities, fulfilment services, printing, response handling and mail shots.

As part of their business set-up Amicus Outsourcing chose synTelate to handle the agent screens and scripting for its inbound and outbound campaigns. The main business driver for the selection of synTelate was based on the requirement for the agent to have one single view across all data systems.
