Aug 12, 2003 | Conteúdos Em Ingles

Comverse announced the availability of Comverse Media Server 3.0, a modular, standards-based VoiceXML gateway for delivering voice-controlled and DTMF-driven services in carrier networks. The Comverse Media Server 3.0 fully supports VoiceXML 2.0 applications. VoiceXML is the standard that enables the delivery of voice-enabled internet content and services to any phone.

The Media Server connects to both TDM-based Public Switched Telephone Networks and the new generation of SIP-based Voice-over-Packet networks. The Media Server also addresses the management requirements of network service providers by featuring full OMAP (Operations, Maintenance, Administration and Provisioning) functionality with SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) alarming, system monitoring, maintenance, system provisioning and configuration, reporting, and statistics.
