PeopleSoft announced that Inmarsat, a satellite communications network provider, has selected PeopleSoft CRM 8.8 as its enterprise wide customer relationship management (CRM) solution for its new Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN). The PeopleSoft solution will enable end-to-end order process management and visibility, allowing Inmarsat to track a customer’s order for its satellite communications services from the moment it is placed. Inmarsat will also be able to complete in-depth marketing analysis on all its customers using PeopleSoft CRM.
“We needed a solution that supported the scope of Inmarsat’s business requirements, would reflect our customer-centric approach and offered rapid results,” explained Jean-Marie Fabry of Inmarsat. “PeopleSoft offered the perfect fit for Inmarsat since its key features are its speed of implementation, smart analytics and ease of use.”
Delivery of the new system will be completed over a two-year period and will be implemented by Danet, a systems integrator (SI) based in Germany.
