VoiceGenie Technologies, a Canadian provider of VoiceXML platforms, development environments and tools for advanced speech solutions, and Elan Speech, a French Text-to-Speech provider, announced their partnership and marketing alliance to deliver high-end speech-enabled services to enterprises and carriers worldwide. The integration of Elan Speech‘s comprehensive Text-to-Speech (TTS) offering for telecom deployments will deliver additional support to VoiceGenie in their international expansion and European involvement.

VoiceGenie‘s speech platform allows enterprises and telecom carriers to develop and deploy IVR (Interactive Voice Response) applications, speech-enabled services, and voice portals. Providing infrastructure solutions and services necessary for the creation of VAD (voice activated dialling) and other speech applications, the platform allows users to retrieve Web information, make online transactions and manage personal communications (such as e-mail, voice mail and voice-activated dialling) by speaking into any phone.

With Elan Sayso Text-to-Speech, VoiceGenie enriches its speech technologies portfolio with a speech synthesis engine close to real voice. Elan Sayso was developed by Elan Speech for high-end applications and services such as unified messaging, email reading, voice portals, e-marketing, public address, CRM , virtual agents and speakers.

“VoiceGenie is excited about the new partnership with Elan Speech,” said Bruce Eidsvik, vice president, worldwide sales with VoiceGenie Technologies. “We are impressed with the quality of Elan’s speech engine and are pleased to further our commitment to integrate our platform with the industry’s leading speech technologies, thus providing our customers with a broad range of technology choices to meet their specific needs.”
