Interactive Intelligence, a developer of software for IP telephony, contact center automation, unified communications, and customer self-service, announced the details of its first EMEA user group conference, called ‘Empowering the Workforce,’ to be held Feb. 17 to 18 in Cologne, Germany. With a workforce that is more mobile due to the proliferation of ubiquitous new technologies, this conference is designed to help Interactive Intelligence software users take full advantage of their business communications systems.

“Using a new and improved format that gives participants access to senior Interactive Intelligence personnel, along with the chance to share experiences with other users in an international forum, this conference promises to be our best yet,” said Gary Blough, vice president of EMEA operations for Interactive Intelligence.

The conference line-up includes:

• User presentations from customers such as Alexander Forbes, flown in from South Africa, The Austrian Chamber of Commerce, and consumer credit company, Halifax Cetelem.
• Independent advice about best practises and the communications technologies that support them from Clive Bottom, analyst at consulting firm, Quocirca.
• Demonstrations from senior Interactive Intelligence personnel about the latest available extensions to systems.
• An address by Interactive Intelligence founder, president and chief executive officer, Donald E. Brown.
