Siemens Business Services reinforces its activities in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and HR Services market. In order to gain access to experts in HR services as well as business and process change management, Siemens Business Services will be working in close collaboration with PricewaterhouseCoopers Human Resource Services and Alexander Mann Solutions.

The BPO market has an estimated overall market volume of 122 billion euros (2003) and is expected to grow annually by ten percent from 2003 to 2007. The HR Outsourcing market is the largest BPO segment.

Paul A. Stodden, group president, Siemens Business Services explains , “Organisations often face the challenge of controlling fragmented HR processes across business units and countries with non-standardised technology. Our solutions and services help these companies to strategically reposition HR by redesigning the function. We also provide the option to outsource individual HR processes such as payroll or recruitment, or even the complete HR function, enabling customers to focus on their core business strengths.”

The initial focus for the solutions and services will be in the UK and Germany with expansion across mainland Europe expected to quickly follow.
