Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions has established an strategic alliance with Optech Incorporated to jointly market and develop airborne flight management and data acquisition systems.
Under this alliance, companies will sell a bundled solution consisting of Optecs Airborne Laser Terrain Mapper (ALTM) and Intergraphs Z/I Imaging Digital Mapping Camera (DMC(R)) at a special price. Commercial photogrammetry, surveying, civil engineering and mapping firms are among the potentials buyers of these technologies.
Intergraph and Optech still have plans to cooperate on the development of flight systems that more tightly integrate lidar and large-format digital camera technology.
