Alpha Technologies Group has reported $14,523,000 revenue for its second quarter, ended April 25, 2004, increasing 19% over the same quarter a year ago. Its focus is the manufacture, fabrication and sale of thermal management and non-thermal fabricated products and aluminum extrusions.
In this three months operating income has increased to $204,000, compared to an operating loss of $75,000 for the second quarter of fiscal 2003. It has posted a loss before taxes of $249,000, or $0.04 per share, compared to a loss before taxes of $583,000, or $0.08 per share, in the same quarter last year.
For the six months ended April 25, revenue increased 12% to $26,435,000 from $23,630,000 for the same period of fiscal 2003. The pretax loss for this year’s first half was $827,000, or $0.12 per share. This compares to a pretax loss of $1,368,000, or $0.19 per share, for the first six months of fiscal 2003.
