The Irish EU Presidency Summit on Biometrics for the Benefit of the Citizen will be held in Dublin, on 14 and 15 June. This meeting aims to progress issues around biometric technology and their increasing impact on European citizens and to reach consensus on taking a collaborative approach to the roll out of these technologies in the region.
The Summit will be hosted by the Irish Department of Communications, Marine and Natural Resources in conjunction with the European Biometrics Forum and the European Commission.
