Vodafone Group Plc has decided to appoint Brian Clark to the post of President and Chief Executive Officer of Vodafone Holdings KK and Vodafone KK. This designation, with immediate effect, follows the resignation of Darryl Green. In his previous role at Vodafone Asia Pacific Region, Clark had full responsibility for all executive matters.
According to Vodafone, Vittorio Colao will also resign from the Board of Vodafone Group to pursue the position of Chief Executive at Italian publishing and media company, MediaGroup. Pietro Guindani, currently Chief Financial Officer of Vodafone Italy and the Southern European, Middle East and African Region, should be designated to take over Colaos position as Chief Executive of Vodafone Italy as well as Chief Executive for the Region. This handover should be effective from July 27th.
