Avaya, a global provider of business communications software, systems and services, has named Mark McBride to the position of Business Development Director for Queensland, Australia. In this post, McBride will be in charge of heading up and growing Avaya business presence within Queensland, as well as increasing penetration of Avaya IP Telephony and Contact Centre solutions into the local market.
Avaya made known publicly that Brides appointment was due to his extensive communications industry experience at a senior management level in Queenslands Enterprise and Government sectors, two of Avayas key strategic markets.
