Deutsche Telekom and France Telecom have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate in the areas of Innovation and Research and Development. By performing shared applied research and joint technology projects, France Telecom and Deutsche Telekom aim to deliver to their customers higher quality services at reasonable cost.
This cooperation will focus mainly on five items: Next-generation networks, Cross-network customer access, Service delivery platform, Terminal devices of the future and Home gateway.
Thierry Breton, CEO of France Telecom, noted that innovation is a key driver for sustainable growth for operators in the communication sector; partnership in innovation between global operators as France Telecom and Deutsche Telekom will accelerate the development of the communication market in Europe, putting our customers at the center of their communication network.
With this Memorandum of Understanding both companies remain open to partner with other companies, in these areas.
