Brooktrout Technology and CTI Squared (CTI²) announced the completion of interoperability testing and a partnership to deliver advanced IP messaging services to the fixed and wireless service provider market.
This partnership enables carriers to deploy a wide variety of consumer and enterprise messaging applications from basic IP voice mail to more advanced unified multimedia messaging services all from the same carrier-class-grade platform, said Peter Vescuso, Vice President of Market Development for Brooktrout. The SnowShore IP Media Servers high performance media processing, featuring its unique ability to blend rich web/media content with voice services, gives CTI² a clear advantage for delivering next gen SIP- based messaging and conferencing services at scale.
The joint CTI² – Brooktrout Technology solution enables next generation service providers to use an open, standards-based framework that leverages SIP and MSCML protocols for rapid delivery of messaging, conferencing and converged services, said Erez Marom, Chief Executive Officer of CTI². With this joint solution, service providers can capitalize on the many advantages of Brooktrouts software-based open systems architecture to efficiently manage capital and operating costs while deploying flexible, scalable and highly available multimedia services to both residential and business subscribers .
