Feb 14, 2006 | Conteúdos Em Ingles

Garlands Call Centres announced the opening of a second building at its Contact Centre Village at Preston Farm in Stockton.

The second Preston Farm building, Villa Jubilent, is a three story building that will primarily be used as a Conference and Training Centre. The centre blends state-of-the-art IT and voice over IP (VoIP) technology with a comfortable and relaxed environment. Villa Jubilent is also home to Café del Mar, a café and rest and recreational area for all Garlands’ employees working at the Stockton site. Up to 1000 personnel are expected to eventually work at the Contact Centre Village.

Today, Garlands also announces 150 new full and part time positions across its Hartlepool Marina, Middlesbrough town centre and Stockton contact centres. The vacancies are primarily for Customer Service Advisors, Team Managers and Technical Support Advisors. Candidates must have good office skills and good communication skills. Previous customer service experience is a bonus but not essential as customer service and basic computer skills training is provided for new recruits. Also included in the 150 new vacancies are a number of new Call Centre Manager, Operational Trainers and Management Information Services (MIS) analyst positions.

‘It’s with enormous pleasure that we announce expansion at both our Middlesbrough and Hartlepool operations, and the opening of the second phase of our Preston Farm development’ said Chey Garland. ‘2006 has started at a pace and it’s shaping up to be another extremely exciting year for the company.’
