2091 — Intervoice Announces Innovative Solution for New Breed of Mobile Virtual Network Operators

May 16, 2006 | Conteúdos Em Ingles

Intervoice announced a solution that allows Value-Added Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) to more rapidly and affordably create new services for subscribers. Intervoice’s Media Exchange platform allows these new Value-Added MVNOs to use internal developers and third parties to deliver creative new content and applications in a uniform manner. This provides subscribers with a consistent user experience across all the services they use on their mobile devices.

Intervoice Media Exchange is specifically architected to accept and integrate applications created by developers. As a result, Value-Added MVNO’s will be able to integrate content and applications into the Intervoice platform on their own — saving them a significant amount of time and money. This will also allow this new class of MVNOs to deliver even more content and applications to subscribers faster than ever before.

“Consumers no longer use their mobile phones just to make calls. They rely on the device to keep informed on news and entertainment and stay connected with friends and family using email and instant messaging among other applications, “said Ron Nieman, senior vice president of products for Intervoice. “The Media Exchange platform provides the ability for Value-Added MVNOs to bring a wealth of new and unique solutions to subscribers by leveraging their own developers

Intervoice created an extensibility tool called Application Builder, which provides the ability to seamlessly add and remove VoiceXML applications to or from the Intervoice Home Zone. The patent-pending Intervoice Home Zone allows users to access content, applications, and value-added services in a single session without transfers or redialing. Once an application is incorporated into the Intervoice Home Zone using Application Builder, it takes advantage of all the voice platform capabilities including single session movement and centralized access to subscriber data.
