Talisma launches France operations along with new regional sales offices in Chicago, New York and Washington D.C.
Talisma Corporation, one of the emerging leaders in the CRM market, in July 16 announced the initial closing on a fourth round of funding, led by current investors Oak Investment Partners, Paul Maritz and founder and CEO Pradeep Singh. Talisma also announced the opening of Talisma office in Paris and a strengthened sales force throughout the U.S.
Talisma has announced three previous rounds of funding in October 2000 and February and October of 2001 in the amounts of $31.5, $12.3 and $10 million respectively. Talisma raised $5 million in its fourth round of financing. The money will be used to bolster operations in Europe and to fund Talisma’s expanded operations in North America and APAC as the company continues to strengthen its position in the market.
Talisma establishes strong presence in France
Talisma has partnered with ex-Pivotal France Executive Pierre Marcel and ex-Groupe MM Robert de Villeneuve to deliver Talisma’s highly integrated customer relationship management (CRM) and contact center suites to customers throughout France. The Master Partner agreement gives Marcel and Villeneuve exclusivity to sell the Talisma suites to all French speaking countries through the newly formed Talisma France operation.
Talisma France officially launched during the SECA exhibition in Paris, the first French CRM and contact center showcase in France. The French team plans to focus on the market of in-house or independent call centers that currently only use voice media as their primary customer touch-point. Talisma holds an advantage over competitors in France because of its modular approach to multi-channel CRM, enabling the customer to implement a staged approach. This process is less resource hungry, more affordable, less intrusive and leads to a much more rapid ROI. Customers can choose the modules that will offer them the most benefit quickly before moving to a more complete solution.
Talisma hires additional sales executives in the U.S.
In part of an ongoing sales expansion, Talisma has added regional sales offices in Chicago, New York and Washington D.C. and hired additional seasoned executives to the outside sales team. Strengthening regional offices is a key part of the expansion, enabling multiple experienced individuals to service new business opportunities in various regions of the country.
